Week 31: Teach Us to Number Our Days (Psalm 90)
  -

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12)

Life is short. As crazy as it might sound, it’s easy to lose sight of that. Psalm 90 doesn’t call us to fear the reality of death. Instead, Moses invites us to see it as a gift that can lead to wisdom. As we reflect on the briefness of our lives and the greatness of God, we learn to live with greater purpose, deeper joy, and lasting hope.

Andrew and Jessica explore Psalm 90 and discuss why Moses prayed for God to “teach us to number our days.” How does remembering that life is short help us live wisely? What does it mean to ask God to “establish the work of our hands”? And how does this ancient prayer point us to the hope we have in Jesus Christ?
