Missions are not just something that a few chosen missionaries do amongst the nations. Missions are the calling of every believer and the responsibility of every faithful church.
Join us for four Sunday Nights from 5:30-7:00 starting January 26 as we have a series of guest speakers and missionaries reveal to us God’s desire to use every one of us to fulfill His mission.
Childcare is available, but you must register beforehand for each night that it will be needed.

DEVELOPING CAREFUL BIBLE STUDY SKILLS
Apart from the word of God, there can be no growth into the life and likeness of Christ. Scripture is where we learn the teachings and character of our Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit imparted upon the Biblical authors His truth and He continues to use their writings to impart upon us the purposes of God. But studying scripture accurately and faithfully is a skill that must be learned and developed. Learning how to carefully study scripture for what it is actually saying makes the Bible come alive in deep and meaningful ways.
Join us as we Dive into God’s Word through the book of Jonah to learn specific Bible Study skills. We will learn how to discern context, derive themes, and dig into the author’s true meaning and how it applies to us today.

One of the greatest responsibilities of any generation of believers is to pass the mantle of faith on to the next generation.
Join us as we learn from Dr. Nathan Lewis (the Director of the Graduate Program in Counseling Ministry at California Baptist University) about how the family and the church are to participate in spiritual formation. Understand your role in this gigantic calling.
