WORSHIP LYRICS & SERMON NOTES 6.13.21
Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee
Holy, Holy, Holy, merciful and mighty
God in three persons, blessed Trinity

Holy holy holy
All the saints adore Thee
Casting down their golden crowns
Around the glassy sea
Cherubim and seraphim
Falling down before Thee
Who were and are
And evermore shall be

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning our song will rise
Holy, Holy, Holy Merciful and Mighty God

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty
All Thy works shall praise Thy name
In earth and sky and sea
Holy, Holy, Holy, merciful and mighty
God in three persons, blessed Trinity

Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy, Holy, Holy, GOD

Who was and is and, evermore will be

Heart Of God

Here I stand before You now
As honestly as I know how
Broken by the days gone by
Spirit help my soul to rise

I try my best but still I fail
And even then You’re with me there
You remind me I’m a child of God
Regardless of the things I’ve done
All my hope is found in perfect love

Your mercy triumphs over judgment
Love wider than horizons
Stronger than all sin
Lord Your kindness, leads to repentance
To the heart of God
Your heart oh God is all I want

They say that it’s impossible
To ever save a sinner’s soul
But my God says to the prodigal
My beloved one, you’re welcome home

All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live

Psalm 32 Of David

1 Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
2 Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.

CONGREGATION
Blessed is the one whose sins are forgiven!

3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
4 For day and night your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.[b]
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said,

CONGREGATION
“I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found;
surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

CONGREGATION
7 You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.

8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
9 Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle
or they will not come to you.
10 Many are the woes of the wicked,

CONGREGATION
but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him.

11 Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!

CONGREGATION
Blessed is the one whose sins are forgiven!
We rejoice in the Lord!
We sing for our sins are forgiven!

Your Glory

My life is Yours
And my hope is in You only
And my heart You hold
‘Cause You made this sinner holy
And holy, holy

‘Cause Your glory is so beautiful
I fall onto my knees in awe
And the heartbeat of my life
Is to worship in Your light
‘Cause Your glory is so beautiful
‘Cause Your glory is so beautiful

Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good

Nothing But the Blood

What can wash away my sin
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

Oh precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

For my pardon this I see
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
For my cleansing this my plea
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

This is all my hope and peace
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
This is all my righteousness
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

House of the Lord

We worship the God who was
We worship the God who is
We worship the God
Who evermore will be
He opened the prison doors
He parted the raging sea
My God He holds the victory

There’s joy in the house of the Lord
There’s joy in the house of the Lord today
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise
There’s joy in the house of the Lord
Our God is surely in this place
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise

We sing to the God who heals
We sing to the God who saves
We sing to the God
Who always makes a way
‘Cause He hung up on that cross
Then He rose up from that grave
My God’s still rolling stones away

We were the beggars now we’re royalty
We were the prisoners
Now we’re running free
We are forgiven, accepted
Redeemed by His grace
Let the house of the Lord sing praise

Sermon Notes, June 13, 2021

Main Scripture:
NEHEMIAH 9:29-35 – 29 You warned them in order to turn them back to your law, but they became arrogant and disobeyed your commands. They sinned against your ordinances, of which you said, ‘The person who obeys them will live by them.’ Stubbornly they turned their backs on you, became stiff-necked and refused to listen. 30 For many years you were patient with them. By your Spirit you warned them through your prophets. Yet they paid no attention, so you gave them into the hands of the neighboring peoples. 31 But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.

32 Now therefore, our God, the great God, mighty and awesome, who keeps his covenant of love, do not let all this hardship seem trifling in your eyes—the hardship that has come on us, on our kings and leaders, on our priests and prophets, on our ancestors and all your people, from the days of the kings of Assyria until today. 33 In all that has happened to us, you have remained righteous; you have acted faithfully, while we acted wickedly. 34 Our kings, our leaders, our priests and our ancestors did not follow your law; they did not pay attention to your commands or the statutes you warned them to keep. 35 Even while they were in their kingdom, enjoying your great goodness to them in the spacious and fertile land you gave them, they did not serve you or turn from their evil ways.

EPHESIANS 5:3-20 – 3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient…

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light…

18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Other Scripture:
1 JOHN 2:1-2 – 1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
